LAWRENCE, Kan. – When the Kansas Jayhawks host Fort Hays State in an exhibition game Tuesday night, two KU players will stay on the bench.

Jayhawks head coach Bill Self said that senior Mario Little and sophomore Travis Releford will not play in the contest. The game starts at 7pm in Allen Fieldhouse.

Self is considering red-shirting both players. If Little and Releford played in the game, both would give up a possible opportunity to red-shirt this season.

Releford played high school basketball locally at Bishop Miege.
