Lance is a sports nut. He loves playing sports, watching sports and, you guessed it, talking about sports. That passion led him to NBC Action News in 2006. He contributes to the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Lance joined the NBC Action News team after spending two years as the Sports Director at KSNT-TV in Topeka. He began his career as a sports reporter/photographer in Huntington, West Virginia.
Lance's broadcasting career took off as his baseball career was winding down. He played in college for the Marshall Thundering Herd. Yes, the same Marshall as in the movie. No, Lance has never met Matthew McConaughey.
