Ready or not---the Winter Olympics are coming this week. I'll be honest; I’m having a tough time getting geared up for these games.

It’s partly because we have no one to pull for from Missouri or Kansas. But also, I just don't see much star power in these games.

We don't have a Michael Phelps like the summer games had.

The Germans are heavily favored to win the overall medal count, just like they have for 3 of the last 4 winter Olympics.

So what happened to our American athletes in these games?

I get the impression it just doesn't mean as much as it used to.
