KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Jack says he won’t deny he is a fan of KU head football coach Mark Mangino, but he thinks the decisions Mangino made in Saturday’s game were horrible mistakes that will haunt Mangino in his upcoming game against K-State.

Jack says it is inexcusable to yank the best player on the team and replace him with a redshirt freshman with no experience.

Jack says taking quarterback Todd Reesing out only upset Reesing and was not a result of an injury.

“Todd Reesing is the best football player this school has has in the last 15 years,” Jack says.

Jack says Mangino will pay dearly for this bad call, and might even lose some players over it.

“Somebody is going to be taken to the woodshed on Saturday, and it won’t be the team in purple,” Jack says.
