KANSAS CITY, Mo. – If you're going to criticize Manager Trey Hillman and the Kansas City Royals -- watch out for George Brett.
The Royals Hall-of-Famer has had enough.
Monday, NBC Action News caught up with Brett on the golf course playing in the Joe McGuff ALS Golf Classic tournament.
When asked about criticism of the Royals and specifically Trey Hillman, Brett, serving his 16th year as the Royals Vice President of Baseball Operations, reacted with profane language.

Brett critcized NBC Action Sports Director Jack Harry saying that the sports guys in town “don’t know what they’re talking about.”
He also said every manager takes criticism when the team doesn't win. He believes the problem is that nobody has patience and that the media explodes on the Royals when things go wrong.
