KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The house cleaning continues at Arrowhead.
The Chiefs have terminated the contract of long snapper Jean-Philippe Darche.
Darche played in 23 games over the past two seasons with the Chiefs.
He injured his knee last season and missed the final nine games.
He originally joined the organization as an unrestricted free agent. The former Seattle Seahawk signed a four-year contract with the Chiefs.
Darche, who is 34 years old, was signed to replace longtime long snapper Kendall Gammon.
His departure leaves Thomas Gafford as the only long snapper on the team's current roster.
Gafford struggled at times filling for the injured Darche last season.
