LAWRENCE, Kan. - Think former Kansas Jayhawk guard Billy Thomas is done playing basketball? Think again.

The 33-year-old is hoping to sign with an NBA team.  He says he can play for three more years.

The 6-foot-5, 220 pound Thomas played at KU from 1994 to '98. He followed that with short stints for the NBA's New Jersey Nets, Washington Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers.

He's also hooped it up in Greece, Italy, Serbia and Argentina. Thomas has competed in the CBA, IBL, USBL and NBA Developmental League.

Thomas is married and has a 3-month old boy. He's ready to play in Europe again if an NBA team doesn't sign him.
