Claire McCaskill is chairing a Senate field hearing in Missouri about reverse mortgages.Monday's hearing is at a senior center in the St. Louis suburb of University City.McCaskill's office says elderly homeowners are often targeted for predatory lending schemes. The Missouri Democrat says it is vital to protect seniors from aggressive marketing and predatory lending tactics.Reverse mortgage loans allow for converting equity in homes into cash.
