Woman Found Guilty in Funeral Burglar Case

PLATTE CITY, Mo. - A Platte County jury found a woman guilty Thursday for receiving stolen property taken in a burglary.

Stephanie Riddle will be sentenced in May, according to the Platte County Prosecutor's Office.

Riddle accepted property stolen as part a wide-ranging burglary ring that operated in several area counties.

Two men, Dane Johnson and Landon Prothro, are serving prison sentences for committing the burglaries.

Riddle opearated a Riverside store authorities searched for alleged stolen property.
