KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two metro businesses will team up to provide 100 feasts for the homeless this Thanksgiving.

Perkins Restaurants and Regarding Kitchens will offer 50 feasts next Wednesday at the Salvation Army's Bellefontaine Community Center in Kansas City. The remaining 50 will be distributed through the Salvation Army's "Honk 'n Holler" homeless outreach program.

Each feast serves 6-8 people and includes a whole turkey, several side dishes, and a whole pumpkin pie.

"We are so thankful to Perkins and Regarding Kitchens for providing these wonderful Thanksgiving feasts," said Major Jeffrey Smith, divisional commander of The Salvation Army in Kansas City. "Their support will ensure that many who might otherwise be forgotten will have a wonderful meal."
