PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. - From turkey to stuffing, gravy to mashed potatoes, a lot goes into our Thanksgiving dinners. So if you forgot to pick up the rolls, or anything else, you aren't alone!
"I got up to put the turkey in the oven at three o'clock this morning and realized I forgot some things!" said Michelle Frye. A few minutes later, her husband had to run back into the store to pick up some seasoning.
"Oh people always make two or three trips," says Linda Gould. She has been working as an overnight cashier at the Hy-Vee in Prairie Village for years and says desserts are always a big last-minute shopper's item.
"Everyone is always in a good mood, but frantic." she says.
