KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Most children are glued to the television this summer but it's a different story for 13-year-old Callum Kerr.

Kerr and his friends pledge to read 100 minutes a day to raise $2,000 dollars.

The money will go to buy book for kids at Operation Breakthrough.

Operation Breakthrough serves more than 600 kids daily.

Last year, nine kids brought in $1,200 dollars worth of books.

Callum has already read nearly 2,800 minutes.
