Suspect Arrested in Harrisonville Shoe Store Robbery

HARRISONVILLE, Mo. – A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a robbery at The Shoe Department located at 1814 N. M-291 Highway.

On Friday, June 26 at about 6:23 p.m. Dustin Miller and another suspect, wearing bandanas covering their face and hair, entered The Shoe Department. They demanded all the employees and customers to lie on the floor.

Miller and the other suspect carried a ball bat and a tire tool while they yelled demands and stole the cash box.

There were no injuries during the robbery.

The two men fled to an undisclosed location and separated. Police were able to chase Miller in one of the vehicles. He was stopped with the help of Cass County deputies.

Miller was taken into custody without incident.

Dustin Miller is in Cass County jail on a Cass County warrant for robbery and armed criminal action. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.

Police are still searching for the second suspect.
