SUGAR CREEK, Mo. - There's plenty of history, music and fun to be enjoyed Saturday at the Sugar Creek Slavic Festival.
The festival opens at 3 p.m. with the Ed Grisnik Group in the dining hall at the Mike Onka Memorial Building, 11520 East Putnam St.
All events at the festival are held on the Onka Building grounds.
The festival features traditional ethnic meals including Povitica, Apple Streudel and lots of Slavic meats.
The first Sugar Creek Slavic Festival was held July 4, 1986.
