RAYTOWN, Mo. – Police are telling NBC Action News a bomb threat at an area high school was unfounded.
Authorities evacuated Raytown High School, 6019 Blue Ridge Boulevard, around 11 a.m. because of a bomb threat.
Investigators weren’t immediately clear as to how the threat was reported.
School officials worked with the Raytown Police Department to sweep the building.
NBC Action News has not heard from the school district as to if the students have returned to class.
