KANSAS CITY, Mo. - If you went to Starlight Theatre lately you may have come home with a new addition to your family.
Starlight teamed up with the Humane Society to hold some dog adoption clinics.
This summer Starlight is working to raise awareness with musicals like Legally Blonde that feature rescue dogs.
"Hopefully it’s getting the interest of some people to come to the show, that benefits us, but also we just wanna help another organization and some great dogs maybe find great homes," says Barb Schulte with Starlight.
The Humane Society is also asking for donations of dog toys, treats and leashes.
