KANSAS CITY, Mo. - There are still spots available in the Kansas City Police Department's Women's Safety Seminar.
It will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 14.
It will focus on self defense, awareness, prevention and street caution.
Interest in such classes has increased since police believe a serial rapist could be responsible for two rapes in Waldo.
Police Academy instructors and other officers will teach the class.
You must be at least 12 years old to participate.
Another class will be held Dec. 12.
