DE SOTO, Kan. – A man was critically injured in a one-car, rollover accident in rural Johnson County Saturday morning.
According to sheriff’s deputies, Nicholas Ingla of DeSoto missed a curve in the 33000 block of 79th Street, near DeSoto, around 7 a.m.
Ingla was thrown out of the car in the crash.
Investigators said excessive speed was a factor in the accident. They estimate Ingla was going at least 80 mph when the accident happened. His age is not yet available.
Ingla remains in the hospital with critical injuries.
