Conrats to Shivashanker! WOO! Someone wasn't quite awake when editing this story: "So me of the bright youngsters vying for top speller said they are used to bein g in a verbal foxhole together like Shivashankar and Sidharth Chand of Bloomfield Hills, Mich." (So MANY of the bright youngsters...BEING in a verbal foxhole...) and "The last time a student won the spelling bee was Peg McCarthy from Topeka back in 1978." (Really? ONLY students win this, right?)
