HARRISONVILLE, Mo. – Another $10,000 has been added to the reward fund in the case of a murdered Harrisonville woman as police hope to renew the search for her killer.
The Harrisonville police Monday announced that more money will used in hopes that someone will come forward with information on the death of Cara Jo Roberts.
Last month the Cass Regional Medical Center added $10,000 to Cara Jo's reward fund. Cara's father works for the hospital.
Monday, private donors added an additional $10,000, bringing the total reward money to $21,000.
Cara’s wife, Jeff Roberts, found her shot to death inside their home Nov. 5.
Authorities have had little to go on in the investigation except for a
sketch of what they are calling a person of interest. It is someone that a neighbor saw in the area the day Roberts was killed in her home.
