KANSAS CITY, MO – The Salvation Army is in the midst of another season of fund raising.
You have probably seen volunteer bell ringers outside some of your favorite metro retailers.
For the second year in a row, the Salvation Army is holding Celebrity Bell Ringing Day.
They invite local celebrities to ring bells to drum up money and support.
Several NBC Action News reporters are pitching in today as bell ringers outside metro Walmart stores.
Investigators Keith King and Russ Ptacek will be at the Walmart on 135
th and State Line.
Keith King will be bell ringing from 10:00a.m to 11:00a.m. and Russ Ptacek will ring the bell from 7:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
Meteorologist Brett Anthony will be at the Olathe Store on K-7 and Santa Fe from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. and reporter Lindsay Shively will be at the Liberty Walmart from 5:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.
