OLATHE, Kan. – Best Regards is a Kansas City favorite when it comes to great cookies.  Now fans of the Olathe company are working hard to support their favorite cookie and a good cause.

To celebrate National Cookie Month, Best Regards launched a contest to pick one seasonal cookie and move it to year-round status.  With the help of radio host Toby Tobin from KMBZ, the contest has sparked some intense competition.

The four seasonal cookies in the running are Toby's Chocolate Avalanche Cookie, Toby's Spiced Apple Pie Cookie, Toby's Ugly Banana Cookie and Toby's Lemon Blast Cookie.  To vote, fans drop by Best Regards and drop food donations for Harvesters into the appropriate bin.  The cookie that raises the most food for Harvesters wins.

On Friday afternoon, the Ugly Banana Cookie got a huge boost when two fans dropped by and loaded the bins with food for Harvesters.  Owner Robert Duensing calls the competition a huge success, and a great example of how generous the Kansas City community can be.

The competition ends Saturday, October 31st at 1:00pm.  For more information, visit the Best Regards website.
