KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police are investigating the second report of a rape at a Kansas City School this week.
Police were called to investigate an alleged rape Wednesday at Fairview Alternative School, 3850 Pittman Road.
Police say a boy allegedly raped a 17 year-old female student.
The boy has been questioned, and the case has been forwarded to Jackson County Family Court.
On Monday, a police report claimed a
10-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted inside a classroom at a George Washington Carver Elementary School, 4600 Elmwood Ave.
According to the report, the girl says a teacher left her and the suspect, who has not been identified by name or age, inside a classroom by themselves.
The report says the girl denied the suspect’s request for oral sex and he then raped her.
The teacher, who according to the report told the girl to "stop tattling" when she told him what happened, has been “reassigned,” pending an outcome of an internal and police investigation.
