KANSAS CITY, Mo. – More than 600 veterans enjoyed a complimentary lunch or dinner Sunday at McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant on the Country Club Plaza.
It was the restaurant’s 11th annual Veterans’ Appreciation Event, as the firm pays tribute to the nation’s veterans.
Many veterans dined with their spouses or other family members, enjoying their choice of Cashew-Crusted Tilapia, Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Seafood Fettuccini Alfredo or Cedar-Planked Salmon.
Applebee's is also offering veterans a free meal. On Veteran's Day, Wednesday, veterans can choose a
free meal from select menu items.
Also on Monday, Nov. 16, the
Golden Corral will offer veterans a free meal from 5 to 9 p.m. Check the linked Web sites for more details.
