KANSAS CITY, Mo. - If you happened to drive through the Plaza early Wednesday morning, you probably noticed the colorful holiday lights were already on display.

Have no fear.  You didn't miss the ceremony.  The lighting from 2 to 6 a.m. was only a test.

The real deal is Thanksgiving at 7:30 p.m.  Jason Sudeikis, Saturday Night Live Cast Member and Kansas City native, will flip the switch at the 80th Annual KCP&L Lighting Ceremony.

Between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., you can catch live musical acts who will perform on stage at Wyandotte and Nichols Road, just south of 47th Street.

All Plaza parking garages are free and open during the night.

The Plaza Lights will shine bright through January 17th.
