KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A nationally syndicated game show will hold auditions in Kansas City next week.

Producers for "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire" will visit the Ameristar Casino Kansas City on Monday, June 29 from 7 - 11 a.m. Those who wish to audition are asked to form a line outside the pavilion on the west end of the casino. No one will be admitted in line before 6 a.m.

The audition will consist of a timed test. Those who pass the audition test will be asked to return Monday afternoon for a brief interview with a show producer. You must be 18 years old, a U.S. resident, and you must bring a picture ID to the audition.

Those selected may appear on either the syndicated version of the show, hosted by Meredith Viera or the 10th Anniversary Edition of Millionaire which will air in August and be hosted by Regis Philbin.

The syndicated version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with host Meredith Vieira, will premiere its eighth season on September 7, 2009 and can be seen locally on Kansas City's NBC Action News Station (KSHB), weekdays at 3 pm. This fall, Millionaire will move to 4 pm.
