VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Security for the Vancouver Winter Olympics will disrupt a number of normal activities.
People who use commuter airplanes could be in for a lot of delays.
In February, commuter pilots will have to send their passengers through extra security checks.
Some pilots are concerned that Canada's unpredictable weather could cause even more delays.
Canadian transportation officials say they understand travelers concerns, but the safety of everyone is their biggest concern.
"Obviously, there's a significant amount of concerns. We've got to balance off the interest of everyone in the community as well as the interest of olympic safety," said transportation minister John Baird.
