OLATHE, Kan. -- City officials say their crews will complete trash and recycling collection for Thursday and Friday, and that no delay is expected.
Other collection agencies in our area chose to delay pickup on Thursday and Friday, citing treacherous road conditions and dangerously cold temperatures and wind chill.
Olathe cancelled the household hazardous waste collection event scheduled for Saturday, January 9, due to weather conditions.
The next household hazardous waste collection event in Olathe will be Saturday, February 13.
