ODESSA, Mo. – Citizens of Odessa, Mo. were without power for about five hours Wednesday evening.
According to police dispatchers, the power went out around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday and it was restored around 11:00 p.m.
Kansas City Power and Light said a broken transmission line at a power pole was the cause of the outage.
The City of Odessa own and operates the electric utilities within the city limits.
