OLATHE, Kan. – The opening of a new thrift store in Olathe promises to bring over 50 new jobs to the area.
Amid economic woes more consumers are hunting for a bargain. Thrift and second-hand stores are striving to keep up with the demand for lower prices.
Savers, the international thrift store chain, will open a new store at 13509 S. Mur-Len Rd. on July 23.
A hiring fair will be held from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on June 2-4 at the new location to fill a variety of full-time and part-time positions. Applicants need to apply in person.
