KANSAS CITY, Mo. - More lawsuits have been filed against the Kansas City Power and Light District.
Call For Action first exposed the problem back in February.
Phoenix Building Group Inc. of Stilwell, Kan., has filed a breach of contract suit against the Cordish Company, 801 Chophouse and the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Kansas City.
Phoenix Building Group says they are owed nearly $650,000 dollars as part of their contract for work done at the Power and Light.
