More Charges Filed in Sex Crimes Ring

LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. – New charges were filed Monday against the five suspects in the Mohler sex abuse case.

The suspects, Burrell Mohler Sr., and his four sons, are accused of sex crimes against children, including bestiality and forcing children into fake marriages with relatives.

Another victim, now 29, gave investigators a statement on Thursday, Nov. 12, detailing allegations of sex crimes. It happened when she was between 5 and 9 years old.

Burrell Mohler Sr., was charged with three counts of forcible rape, forcible sodomy, three counts of felony use of a child in a sexual performance and sexual abuse.

Burrell Mohler Jr., was charged with forcible rape and forcible sodomy.

David Mohler was charged with forcible rape.

Jared Mohler was charged with two counts of forcible rape.

Roland Mohler was charged with forcible rape and forcible sodomy.

The crimes allegedly happened in the late 80's and early 90's.

The five suspects are scheduled to be in court Tuesday.

Darrel Mohler, the sixth member of the Mohler family accused in the sex crimes case, remains in custody in Florida.

He has been scheduled to appear in court Tuesday for his extradition hearing.
