This is absolutely outrageous! Since when was taking a human life only worth 120 days? I'm sure if the tables were turned and it was the Mertensmeyer's or the judges son the punishment would have been taken to the "fullest extent of the law".....Law....what a joke! Parents are supposed to be role models for their children, look what they just showed their son.."Go ahead son, do whatever you want, we'll pay to get you out of trouble". Kind of makes you wonder what kind of role models Curtis's parents had. I guess they had their troubles covered up as well. Fortunately, the Mertensmeyers will have to live with this the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, so will Mrs. Reimann, I do hope justice prevails sooner or later.
