TOPEKA, Kan. – A Concordia man is sentenced to two years in federal prison for lying to FBI agents about tying up a black student and calling him a racial epithet.
Andrew Ralph, 22, must also complete 100 hours of community service and 20 hours of cultural diversity and cultural awareness training.
In May 2007, Ralph attended a high school graduation party in Waterville, Kan. where many of the students were drinking alcohol. Ralph and two other men admitted to tying up and urinating on a black student who fell asleep at the party. The men also painted the victims arms and legs with white spray paint and yelled racial slurs at him.
Isaac Clark and David Ensley also pled guilty in the incident.
