INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – A man is left dead after his car crashes into a tree.
The crash occurred about 1:20 Saturday morning near the intersection of Kentucky Road and Arlington Ave.
The driver lost control which caused the car to leave the road and crash into a tree. He was pronounced dead later at North Kansas City Hospital.
The driver was a 23 year old Parkville, MO man, but his identity has not yet been released.
Independence Police are investigating the accident, however it is unknown whether alcohol was a factor.
