Lee's Summit Principal Named Finalist for Statewide Award

LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. - A Lee's Summit elementary school principal is a finalist for the Missouri Distinguished Principal award.

Lynn Lang, principal at Cedar Creek Elementary School in Lee's Summit, was selected by the Kansas City Suburban Elementary Principal's Association to compete against twelve other finalists for the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals award for Distinguished Principal.

Lang has worked at Cedar Creek since 2000. The Missouri Distinguished Principal award will be named next spring at a statewide conference.
