MERRIAM, Kan. -- The largest no kill shelter in the metro is asking for help.
Animal Haven is at capacity.
With its current 400 dogs and cats, it is not able to take in any more animals.
That is why it is holding its first Dogtoberfest Adopt-a-thon.
This Friday through Sunday you can adopt a dog for only $50.
Cats are only $25.
Door prizes including two new IPOD Shuffles will also be given away during the three day event.
All pets at Animal Haven are already spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
