ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Kansas City Power & Light says power is restored in St. Joseph after a widespread power outage left residents in the dark Wednesday morning.
A spokesman with the power company said no numbers were immediately, though all customers had power restored by about 11:45 a.m.
The outage was likely due to a tree that fell on a transmission line and crews working scheduled maintenance on lines in the area were able to quickly restore power.
