OLATHE, Kan. -- A groundbreaking ceremony will be held Thursday in Olathe for the first building on Kansas State University's new Johnson County campus. The building will eventually house the National Institute for Animal Health and Food Safety.
The institute will house educational and lab space for research, education and technology commercialization in animal health and food safety.
The building is projected to be completed by early 2011 at a cost of $28 Million.
