WESTON, Mo. - It's that time of year again. Time to bring out your green sweater, indulge in a tasty reuben sandwich, and bust out your favorite Irish dance move.
It's the 10th annual Weston Irish Festival. The first year, the event was a single day and drew 1,500 people. It is now a weekend long event that draws thousands (9,000 people turned up last year).
This year, seventeen bands are on tap to perform. They include: The Makem Brothers, Young Dubliners, Seven Nations, The Elders, Connie Dover, The Prodigals, The Fenians, and Brigid's Cross. The performers will be set up at O'Malley's Pub and Courtyard at 500 Welt Street.
The festival is presented by O'Malley's, American Bowman Restaurant and the Weston Brewing Company.
HOURS/TICKETS:
Friday - 5pm to Midnight - $8.00
Saturday - 11am to Midnight - $10.00
Sunday - Noon to 10pm - $10.00
Children under 14 years of age admitted free
