KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police say the husband of a missing woman gave conflicting stories about when his wife disappeared.
Renee Pernice, a 35 year old mother of three, has been missing since the beginning of the year.
Friday afternoon documents were released detailing findings of a search warrant served at the home she shares with her Husband Shon.
According to the documents Shon told Renee's family he last saw her the morning of January first.
He later told police he last saw her on the morning of the second.
In a lengthy warrant report we learn officers discovered what they believe is blood in the garage of Renee's home.
They also collected carpet patches, gloves, blankets and clothing belonging to Renee and her husband Shon.
Several guns and boxes of ammunition were collected.
Shon is in the military. He’s an Iraq war veteran.
Kansas City Police also searched Renee's office at St. Luke's Medical College.
They discovered divorce papers and pictures of Shon with another woman.
On January 2nd, Shon picked up his daughter from a previous relationship for an overnight visit.
That night the girl emailed her mother saying she was worried because Renee wasn't there.
She asked to go home.
Then on January 3
rd, Shon, who works for the Independence Fire Department, used his key card to get into an Independence fire and hazmat station at 4:30 a.m. He’s not assigned to that station.
On January 6th police followed Shon to a park near his home. Police say he let Renee's dog out of the car and then left.
Police suspect foul play in Renee's disappearance. Shon's attorney, Kevin Baldwin, says he can not comment on the report saying neither he nor his client have seen it. Shon maintains he had nothing to do with his wife's disappearance.
No charges are filed in this case.
