KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City radio station is teaming up with an ice cream company to help hot workers deal with scorching heat on the job.

A Blue Bell Ice Cream truck and radio personality Dave Fogel from Star 102 FM will make the rounds to six Kansas City area job sites Wednesday to distribute free ice cream. The six employers were selected from hundreds of entries submitted by the employee's spouses. The goal was to find the hottest jobs, and reward the workers with a cool treat.

The winning employers were Northland Truck Service and ABF in Kansas City, Propak Logistics in Kansas City, Kan., and Ingersoll Rand and Olathe Dodge in Olathe, Kan.
