HORTON, Kan. -- Hope is fading for the safe return of a missing Atchison County woman.

Police believe Patricia Kimmi was abducted Friday from her Horton home.

Her daughter was among hundreds of volunteers searching for clues in her disappearance.

The crews found part of Kimmi's dentures.

Deputies say the dentures as well as other evidence may suggest she was beaten when she was taken.

"It's not what we wanted to know or hear, but we're just going to remain positive. That's what she would want," says Kimmi's daughter Rita Boller.

Volunteers are combing parts of Atchison, Jackson and Brown counties.
