Holt Fire Chief Passes Away After 50 Years With Dept.

HOLT, Mo. - The current Chief of Holt Community Fire Protection District passed away this past week.

William R. Moore, known as Billy, was age 70 when he passed away April 3.

He had been with the Holt Community Fire Protection District for 50 years.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. on Monday April 6, with the funeral at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Holt Baptist Church in Holt, Mo.

Many firefighters and chiefs across the nation are expected to show up for the services.
