KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The holidays begin Nov. 21 with the Kansas City Chapter of DIFFA presenting an array of holiday wreaths and décor.
Holidays by Design 2009 is set for Saturday, Nov. 21 from 7-10 p.m. at the Taylor Building, 1701 Walnut, in downtown Kansas City.
DIFF is an acronym for Design Industries Fighting Aids. The event began several years ago at Chuck Matney’s Floral Shop in Fairway and has grown bigger every year.
This year’s event will feature holiday décor by Jennifer Bertrand, the 2008 winner of HGTV Design Star and host of Paint-Over!
Kansas City has designated more than $1.3 million dollars to area programs that promote awareness and prevention of HIV/AIDS.
