KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Starting Monday, more people can get the H1N1 vaccine from the KCMO Health Department.

Expanded priority groups can get the swine flu vaccine Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from noon to 7 p.m. at the Kansas City Health Department, located at 2400 Troost.

The expanded priority groups include: pregnant women, anyone between the ages of 6 months to 24 years old, and adults 25 to 64 years old with chronic health conditions.

People over 65 are not eligible to get the swine flu vaccine under CDC guidelines.

The vaccine is given on a first come first serve basis at the clinics.

For more information on Kansas City's reaction to the swine flu outbreak, you can log on to www.kcmo.org/health.
