BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – The Golden Regiment at Blue Springs High School has made its reservations for New York.
Members of the band learned Sunday afternoon they will be returning to New York in November 2010 to play in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
After the announcement, which included the unveiling of a large banner, students performed their annual showcase concert.
The Golden Regiment is no stranger to performing on the big stage. The band has marched in the 2005 Macy’s Day parade, the 2009 Rose Bowl Parade and in the 2009 Inaugural Parade for President Barack Obama.
