MISSION, Kan. – Police say a 14-year-old girl reported being
enticed to get into a man’s car while she was walking to school on Tuesday.
The girl told police the man is in his forties, has sandy brown hair and a mustache. He was wearing a tan shirt and jeans when he talked her into getting into his car at about 8:00 Tuesday morning.
The girl said as she was walking to school, she stopped to sit on a bench near Johnson Drive and Broadmoor. That’s when the man pulled up next to her in a white car and offered her a ride.
The girl got in the car.
She told police the man drove her past the school and to Aristocrat Motors where he drove around the parking lot.
The girl says the man asked her repeatedly if she had ever had sex before, and also asked her if she had ever ridden in a BMW.
The girl was eventually dropped off at Shawnee Mission Parkway and Foster. Police say the man told the girl he often takes his lunch break at the Quik Trip at that intersection.
