INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – A fight outside a bar early Sunday morning ended with four people shot.
Police say a group began fighting around 1:15 a.m. outside the Do Drop In at 10520 U.S. Highway 40 when someone pulled out a gun and fired at the ground.
An employee and two other people were walking towards the group when they were hit by a series of bullets.
All three were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The fourth victim left the scene and showed up at the hospital about a half-hour after the shooting.
Investigators have not released a description of the gunman.
