KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A FedEx delivery has landed a man in jail.

Police say someone sent 34-year old Joshua Lee Colvin a package with 14 pounds of marijuana to Total Automotive Concepts located at 6817 Stadium Drive.

A worker called police after he smelled pot while sorting the boxes at the FedEx delivery warehouse.

The package was sent overnight from a California address.

After a search of Colvin’s car and a nearby barn, police say they found more marijuana inside a shoe box, pelican case and a glass jar.

Police also say they found more than $46,000 in cash in Colvin’s trunk and in his pocket.

Colvin is charged with possession of a control substance with intent to sell.

He was in the Jackson County Jail Thursday night on $10,000 bond.
